This is a good option for a dancey night out. I came on a Saturday night. It had been raining so it was pretty empty, but started to get a little bit busier around 11. Entry is free if you get a ticket on Eventbrite. The main floor has one bar and a bunch of tables and seating along the walls. On busier nights, these probably get reserved for bottle service, but since it was slow, we were able to sit. They also have a rooftop with a second bar and hookah service. Hookah is $45. There is also seating here, as well as high top tables for placing drinks. The roof has a nice ambiance with string lights, heating lamps, and fans. The DJ was playing a good mix of early 2000s hits. Only negative was that the bar tender added her own tip to my tab instead of giving me the self serve options on the card reader.

Loved the rooftop -- main stage bar and lower dance area. Reasonably priced. Tad small for 'concert'. But amazing DJ!!!!!!!!

I popped into a friend's birthday party at Bar 13. This wasn't a couple of folks getting together for drinks. It was a 50th birthday party and he had a hundred guests. The first hour was spent on the first level. They had food out buffet style, music playing and screens with photos of the birthday boy's life. There was an open bar but even the non drinkers were able to get options like water and soda. The venue was uniquely set up for this. The first level was cold. I would say on a cold day, bring a sweater and even a hat so that you have the option of wearing it. Despite the 32° weather outside, there were some people who had big coats but had short sleeve polos on and they were miserable. Then after two hours the party moved up to the next level. It was a bit warmer. More people showed up for his party. This was more like the bar lounge experience with private and communal areas that most places have and not worth mentioning. They provided their own music so it was good because the birthday boy was a DJ. There is also a partial rooftop upstairs. I had never seen this venue used in such a way for a family style party, so I figured my review should reflect that at the end of the day. The possibility of using the venue as an event space exists.

I came here with my mother in law and my hubby for a birthday party. It was an ok experience for a night out. The place had 3 floors and there were a ton of stairs so ladies I wouldn't recommend heels! The place had a nice rooftop which is cool to hang out in if it wasnt January lol. The drinks were affordable and the staff was nice. The place was so old that the floor was shaky when people dancing which scared the crap out of me lol. It was a decent place but would I return? Probably not. Most of the people at the place where like 50 plus!

It's a good place to dance on three levels. They had Latin music on the first and rooftop. The second floor had hip hop music but not all night. It went back to Latin eventually. The rooftop was airy. Chill spot. $10-15 for ladies without rsvp on eventbrite or after 11pm. (It could depend on the event for the night).
